Today, as we reflect on his life and legacy, we are reminded that the fight for justice and equality did not end with his words. The dream is still alive, and it is our duty to work tirelessly until it becomes a reality.

In 1963, standing before the Lincoln Memorial, Dr. King proclaimed with unwavering conviction:

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’”

These words rang out as a powerful call for justice then, and they remain just as relevant today. The inequalities he denounced have not disappeared; we continue to face racial, economic, social, and gender barriers that divide our communities.
